Jonny Grusing spent 25 years in the FBI’s Denver Division, including more than a decade as the Behavioral Analysis Unit Coordinator. He now serves locally as Director of Safety and Security for Douglas County Schools.
He was the lead agent investigating Scott Kimball, the convicted Colorado serial killer whose case stunned investigators when they learned Kimball had been serving as an FBI informant while secretly committing murders.
Grusing is now sharing the inside story in his new book, The Devil I Knew: Unmasking a Serial Killer.

This is a bigger change, really, than the Louisiana ruling in Callais. The latter says you can't use race as the primary factor in creating a congressional district. What the Supreme Court did yesterday (in an unsigned order, with three justices dissenting) was basically say you can't bar the creation of a district even when doing so would (perhaps intentionally) dilute the political power of blacks voting as a group (which assumes, correctly in recent history, that blacks vote in very large percentages for one particular party and, when possible, for black candidates.)

An astonishing payday, especially for so many people at once. At the risk of sounding like Donald Trump, I literally have never seen anything like it:

Trump says he aims to suspend gas tax "for a period of time" - CBS News
Did you know that the gas tax isn’t collected at the pump, but rather at the refinery? In my opinion, this makes it less likely that consumers will get close to the whole amount of savings if the tax is suspended.

Yep. I know I annoyed some listeners the last time this topic came up and I'll do it again: protecting some hundreds (or even thousands) of ranchers is not a good enough reason to punish millions or tens of millions of Americans who eat food.

I love this story because it shows where American Democrats would go if they could get away with it. Don't forget how many times Governor Polis and Mayor Johnston made noises about wanting people to eat less meat. The brazenness here is something that Polis can only aspire to:

Today's Video
Yesterday, Intrepid Chad Bowar did a "Well Now You Know" segment on eponyms, things named for their inventors, such as a British general named shrapnel who invented what's basically the hand grenade and a French dude named Silhouette (you get the idea). A listener sent me this history lesson about Lord and Lady Douchebag. (From the 5th season of SNL so you'll see Bill Murray, Gilda Radner, and others...)
