There is some good stuff in this bill that isn't getting coverage in reporting but that's because the idea to ticket people for going 6 MPH over the limit is unacceptable. It's a money-grab and will cause money-hungry municipalities to lower speed limits to steal drivers' money.
Very disappointed in State Sen Byron Pelton for supporting this even though, as I said, there is some good stuff in the bill. The ability to steal more for minor and irrelevant "infractions" is a poison pill that makes the whole bill unacceptable.

I have no use for anti-vax nutters but, first, this job doesn’t matter very much, and second, presidents should generally have their nominees confirmed unless the nomination is due to corruption or the nominee is wildly, manifestly unfit for the job. Means should never have been the nominee but I also don’t think she was so egregious as to overcome the presumption in favor of a president’s selections.

The fact that Kevin Warsh, Pres Trump’s nominee to be the new Fed Chair, only got through the Senate Banking Committee on a party-line vote is outrageous. He’s exceptionally qualified and probably the least likely of the folks Trump might have nominated to not let Trump bully him into any particular policy.
