Words don't do it justice

Combine this with the incredible rescue of the F-15E crew that ejected over Iran and one wonders if there's anything America can't do, at least anything that can't be done through technological prowess and sheer will:

March Madness

Congrats to on Michigan (the #1 seed and betting-odds favorite all along)) winning the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship last night, beating the University of Connecticut by a score of 69-63. (For those who were betting on the game, Michigan did NOT cover the spread which was -6.5 at most sites, and the total score was well under the over-under line which was somewhere around 145 points.)

Kienan Dixon from the KOA News Desk will join us at 8:17 to talk about the game and the tournament.

Just One Thing: Will he or won't he

President Trump has threatened to attack Iranian energy infrastructure and bridges at 6 PM Mountain Time today. My guess is he'll do something but a little less than he'd threatened and call it his "last warning". He needs a way out from actually doing what he threatened. There's almost no military upside for the US in attacking those things, especially power plants. It would gain Iran sympathy in the wider world and make the Iranian public less pro-American. And if Iran succeeds in getting their people to make "human chains" around power plants so that Trump is killing (regime-supporting) civilians, that's a whole new level of propaganda victory for Iran (albeit an insanely brutal one.)

Iran official calls for youths to form human chains around power plants ahead of threatened Trump strikes

Remember that the Iranian regime, like Iran-affiliated Hamas, sees the suffering or even death of their population as a goal, not as a problem.

The problem is that regime change cannot be accomplished solely by American military power, and this regime doesn't think it's losing, or at least not enough to give in to Trump's demands.

I think Trump is rather flummoxed by their intransigence. I've said lots of times that these things can change in a moment but for this moment there's no indication that Iran is looking to do anything but press what it thinks is an advantage, as hard as that is for Americans to imagine.

Bottom line is that all the regime needs to do to win is to continue to exist, and so far the Whac-a-Mole game doesn't seem to be phasing them much.

Jessica Trowbridge is a spokesperson for King Soopers, joining us to talk about a remarkable effort they're undertaking...and for which they could use your help:

ON 4/17, 1,000 volunteers will come together at the Stockyards Event Center to pack 1 million meals for Coloradans facing hunger. The event is being hosted by King Soopers in partnership with U.S. Hunger, and right now, the biggest need is to get more people to sign up to help.

We have a State Supreme Court that has allowed every Democratic tax, fee-disguised-as-tax, etc, for nearly 20 years. It would be a miracle if they overturned this tax, but let's hope: Colorado Supreme Court to hear Netflix case on taxation
