I like the idea of making up results of non-existent Olympic events and I'm gonna try to do this repeatedly during the Winter Games. I'll start with this:

In one of the biggest upsets in the early days of the Olympics, 5-time Russian polar bear wrestling champion Sergei Ivanov lost the gold medal to American amateur Blake Cunningham who previously had only wrestled the smaller black bears of his native Colorado.
