Former DC Circuit Judge David Tatel on the Independence of the Judiciary

Judge David Tatel (pronounced like Tay-Tell) served of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit and is a member of Keep Our Republic’s Article III Coalition

He'll be appearing with two other federal judges at an event next Tuesday evening (10/14) at the University of Denver: Public Forum: Judicial Independence: Checks & Balances

This nonpartisan program will examine the critical role of the courts as one of the three co-equal branches in our government. A panel of former federal judges will discuss the importance of an independent judiciary and why it matters to the lives of everyday Americans. The panel will discuss and answer questions on several timely and significant topics, including the judiciary’s critical role in upholding our democratic principles and the need to protect judicial independence at the state and federal levels.
