Just One Thing: No, not that Golden Dome
Here in Colorado we use the phrase "the Golden Dome" to refer to the state capitol. That's not what President Trump and various assembled folks announced yesterday in the Oval Office. Instead it is a new Golden Dome missile defense that will theoretically protect the nation from missiles of any speed coming at us from any other nation or ocean or even from space.
Here's my take: it's a worthy goal that has a zero percent chance of meeting Trump's goals for either completion date (before the end of his presidency) or cost ($175 billion.) I do wonder about proposals that are heavily reliant on satellites since I expect China, Russia, and maybe others to have significant anti-satellite capabilities.
Golden dome missile shield will cost $175 billion, Trump says

Alan Dershowitz is an emeritus professor of law at Harvard Law School and one of the most eminent constitutional lawyers in the nation for the last several decades. We have a lot to talk about including his interesting new book, "The Preventive State: The Challenge of Preventing Serious Harms While Preserving Essential Liberties".
I also want to ask him about Harvard, about making and losing friends over politics, and about the ongoing conversation regarding the propriety of federal district judges issuing nationwide injunctions
