Jake Lang outed himself on social media as the guy seen in this picture from the riots at the US Capitol on January 6, 2021. I mean the guy in the center with the mask, the plastic shield (apparently stolen from law enforcement) and an aluminum baseball bat.

NY man busted for alleged role in Capitol riot after outing self
After alerting the public to who he was and his role on Jan 6, he was arrested, tried, convicted, imprisoned...and pardoned by Donald Trump.
He calls the prison a gulag, calls himself and others "political prisoners" and (along with others) is suing the federal government for big money. Jake was in solitary confinement for 900 days which, separate from whatever i think of Jan 6 and his role, strikes me as outrageous.
He is now the founder of Federal WatchDog.
