Thurs Blogcast: More election thoughts; Jeff Crank; Closing Lukas Liquors

Just One Thing: What will they do with it?

In a truly historic political comeback, Donald Trump will become only the second person in American history to win two non-consecutive presidential terms. Most or all of the swing states moved slightly but uniformly toward Trump giving him not only the first Republican win of the popular vote since 1988 but what may also turn into a large majority in the Electoral College. Republicans retook the Senate though it doesn’t look like as big a majority as it seemed last night as late-counted votes in blue states put Dems back in the lead there. The House is still up in the air but it appears the GOP might hold on to the slightest of leads. If so, Republicans will have full control of the federal government for two years. Let’s see what they do with it.

Wow. I did ask when this story first broke whether someone had rifled through mailboxes or whether multiple ballots were taken from earlier in the postal process with some sort of help or access given by someone in the Post Office. Basically it's the latter, though it did occur at mailboxes: 2 arrested in stolen Mesa County ballots investigation, including USPS mail carrier
