Selwyn Jones is the uncle of George Floyd and co-founder of Hope9:29 (hope929.org).
In an effort to save and preserve lives, Selwyn has also been rallying support in different states for passage of The Medical Civil Rights Act. It was approved by government officials in Connecticut last year and would establish the legal right to medical care during any police interaction or incarceration where an individual communicates they’re in crisis and need aid.
