Actor Gary Sinise Talks This Year's National Memorial Day Concert

Actor and big supporter of US military troops and veterans, Gary Sinise, joins the show to talk about this year's National Memorial Day Concert.

Co-hosted by Sinise, Tony-Award-winner Joe Mantegna with actress Mary McCormack, who are all long-time supporters of veterans’ causes and our troops in active service, the 35th annual event brings the country together and pays tribute to the service and sacrifice of our men and women in uniform.

Special segments in this year’s concert will include how Allen Hoe, a decorated combat medic in Vietnam in 1967-68, still confronts the loss of battle buddies along with the death of his son, 1st Lieutenant Nainoa Hoe, who was killed in combat during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
