TGIF Blogcast: Ask a blind dude anything; Boulder deputy comedy; Moon moron

Just One Thing: Idiots in Charge

Democratic Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee, who has a reputation as being the meanest person in Congress, had this (see below) to say the other day when talking, for some reason, about space exploration.

What’s amazing is that her statement is not true about any place in our solar system except for Earth. Not only is this woman mean, she’s a moron. But at least she and others with her mental acumen are running the country.

(I chose today's blog picture because the MTV "astronaut" definitely knows more about space than the congresswoman.)

And this: I don’t know whether this will get uglier than with Kevin McCarthy’s ouster. There’s not much reason for Dems to save Johnson. That said, if the lunatic Marjorie Taylor Greene brings a motion to remove Mike Johnson as Speaker of the House, and if it gets to a vote of the House, if every other Republican votes for Johnson I believe he would survive. And that could happen because there seems to be little appetite for another self-destructive fight. Trump could call MTG and tell her to shut her venomous ignorant pie hole.
