Just One Thing: Dems come for ALL your TABOR refunds

Democrats hate the Colorado Taxpayer Bill of Rights. They hate that they can’t keep all your money and spend it on pet projects which is why they’re always trying to find a way to do just that. Frankly, Governor Polis thinks that TABOR is kinda dumb too insofar as having the state overcollect so much and then give it back. He’s in favor of lowering the rate and getting rid of the refund. You might be too when you hear this: Democrats are proposing giving every Colorado parent up to a certain income who has a child 16 or younger a bunch of money…enough to eliminate all TABOR refunds. You heard me right. You’ve heard me say repeatedly that any bill with Faith Winter’s name on it will be a disaster for taxpayers. Guess which bridge toll is behind this brazen theft.

Trump is right about abortion (though I doubt he knows why he's right)

He's probably annoying the hard-core pro-lifers but this approach is the only chance of saving the GOP from themselves

I said to a Denver City Council member (on the air) that Denver must be less "welcoming" because the current level of that costly public policy is wrecking the city's budget and harming taxpayers. I guess Mayor Johnston finally agrees though I'm sure he wouldn't word it the way I did:

I don’t know whether this will get uglier than with Kevin McCarthy’s ouster. There’s not much reason for Dems to save Johnson. That said, if the lunatic Marjorie Taylor Greene brings a motion to remove Mike Johnson as Speaker of the House, and if it gets to a vote of the House, if every other Republican votes for Johnson I believe he would survive. And that could happen because there seems to be little appetite for another self-destructive fight. Trump could call MTG and tell her to shut her venomous ignorant pie hole.

Sure, this was a political stunt by the Dems (the timing, I mean, not the merits of the argument). For Republicans in Arizona, the beatings will continue until morale improves. Arizona abortion ban repeal blocked by Republican lawmakers (axios.com)
