Wed Blogcast: Gov Jared Polis in studio; Free speech vs supporting terror?

Just One Thing: Rep George Santos (R-NY) may be expelled this week

NY Congressman George Santos, if that’s his real name, will likely become only the 6th member of the House ever to be expelled. The man is clearly a congenital liar and sociopath, having lied about everything from where he went to college to most of his resume to his family including Holocaust survivors, and according to the House Ethics Committee, he spent LOTS of campaign contributions on stuff for himself including Botox and a $3300 weekend in the Hamptons. Of the other 5 expellees, 3 were southern secessionists booted during the Civil War. One was convicted of accepting a bribe during the 1980 Abscam scandal and the most recent was Jim Trafficant who, like Santos, spent campaign money on personal stuff. Interestingly, when he gets the boot, Santos will be the first Republican ever expelled from the House.
