Tues Blogcast: Andy McCarthy: Home-grown Hamas; Scary AI scams

Just One Thing: Musk meets Bibi

Elon Musk has some work to do. He recently retweeted an obviously anti-Semitic post about Jews opposing white people or some such nonsense. Obviously, it blew up with some of Twitter’s biggest advertisers at least hitting the pause button. So Elon Musk went to Israel to meet with Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu and others, including visiting Kfar Aza, a kibbutz that was the site of mass murder and hostage taking. Musk seems to understand now, if he didn’t before, that, unlike Hamas, and I quote, “Israel tries to avoid killing civilians.” Israeli leftists criticized Netanyahu for meeting with Musk but I disagree. It’s good for both of these men to meet publicly and have these conversations publicly. Well, it’s good for Musk and it’s good for Israel. Once the war is over, Bibi’s political career is toast and no amount of schmoozing will save him.

There was also a business aspect to the trip though these stories aren't yet confirmed by Musk: Israeli official says the country has reached a 'significant agreement' with Elon Musk to allow Starlink in Gaza, but only if approved by Israel (msn.com)

Gary Schildhorn is a corporate and business law attorney in Pennsylvania who seems like a very decent human other than being an Eagles fan. The scam that nearly got him, and that definitely will get lots of others, especially parents and grandparents, is a story that must be heard. So far, something like 20 million people have heard Gary’s story, so I thought we’d double that number by having him join the show.
