Just One Thing: Not quite full cave-man
I don’t know that I’ve ever done a Ross Report about a movie before, but this weekend my wife and I watched a Netflix movie called “Old Dads”, written and directed by the brilliant comic, Bill Burr. In today’s world where everything is a Rorschach test, some folks focus in the intense anti-wokeness of the movie and how Gen-Xers like Burr’s character (very much like the heart of his comedy routines)…and like me…really do feel like American men, women and children have become too soft, too sensitive, and too driven by emotions. Not enough of “just rub some dirt on it” and get back to work. Others, though, focus on how Burr’s character gratefully seeks out therapy at the end of the film, seeing it as a pro-woke moment. I see it as just a more reasonable balance between full caveman and full soy latte man-bun.
Today's Guests
Rose Pugliese is assistant minority leader in the Colorado State House of Representatives. She's a Republican representing CO's 14th House district, which is basically the parts of El Paso county that border on the Air Force Academy (but not the Academy itself.) Rose, along with Advance Colorado's Michael Fields, both graduates of the Leadership Program of the Rockies, will debate Jared Polis and his old friend Art Laffer tonight about the pros and cons of Prop HH.
More info about watching the debate here: Gov. Jared Polis, Arthur Laffer to face Rep. Rose Pugliese, Michael Fields in Prop HH debate | News | coloradopolitics.com
My understanding is that 9News will have it live on the air (though I'm not certain of that) while ColoradoPolitics.com and the Denver Gazette will livestream it on their websites.
And a reminder: The language of the ballot measure is wildly misleading and would never have been permitted if it had gone through the regular titling process: Colorado board that scrutinizes ballot measures raises questions about whether Proposition HH does what it says it does - CBS Colorado (cbsnews.com)

Making today's adults richer by making our children and grandchildren poorer. This is a political and economic sin...and Donald Trump was just fine with it. (Of course Dems are fine with it, but it's especially disappointing to have Republicans spend like Democrats and Trump NEVER cared about spending or about our deficit and debt.)

Federal judge blocks enforcement of CO law blocking Catholic medical clinics for offering "abortion (pill) reversal", an unproven treatment that aims to use high doses of progesterone to counteract the effects of the "abortion pill" if a woman takes the latter and then changes her mind.
