Just One Thing

When it comes to the so-called mainstream media, never attribute to incompetence or being in a hurry that which you can attribute to anti-Semitism. When an explosion happened at a hospital in Gaza, the New York Times ran a headline, “Israeli Strike Kills Hundreds in Hospital, Palestinians Say”. Really, now we’re going to run a wildly inflammatory headline, one that can and arguably did cause riots around the world, based on what a terrorist regime says and despite the fact that the claim was beyond implausible? CNN ran with it, BBC ran with it, the AP ran with it. Again, it was always likely to be wrong. Whenever the left can make someone they don’t like, in this case Jews, look bad, the truth always suffers. Do not forget or forgive pro-Hamas propaganda, ESPECIALLY when spread by so-called journalists.

One More (Related) Thing: The Hospital

On Tuesday, there was a fire and/or explosion in Gaza. It was first reported by Palestinians as an Israeli air strike on a hospital in which perhaps 500 people died.

I would not bet my life on this, but at the moment my best estimation based on various reports is:

  • Rather than an air strike, the conflagration was caused by a missile fired by Palestinian terrorists who were trying to hit Israel but instead hit their own people. To be clear, it appears that it malfunctioned in midair and fell to the ground. (This sort of malfunction of what are essentially home-made rockets is common.)
  • It hit the parking lot next to the hospital, not the hospital itself
  • A fire (probably from the rocket's fuel) and apparently a moderate explosion, not a massive explosion, ensued. Pictures after the fire/explosion show that the buildings near the parking lot appear to have suffered only modest damage. (Some news reports talk about people caught under rubble but I haven't seen evidence of the existence of rubble.)
  • I suspect that far fewer people died than has been reported so far...and I hope that I'm right but I don't know if we'll ever know. Still potentially a couple of hundred but not 500+ as the terrorists and their useful idiots in the media have been saying. And it actually wouldn't surprise me if it's 100 or less. (Which is still a tragedy.)

And yet, major news outlets (as noted above) reported this as an Israeli air strike. A reprehensible blight on the US government named Rashida Tlaib, a Palestinian representing Michigan in the US House of Representatives not only tweeted out that it was an Israeli air strike but then left the tweet up after it became known that that claim is almost certainly false. AND she sent out another tweet essentially repeating the claim. She needs to be removed from Congress.

And the erroneous reporting (based on lies/propaganda by Hamas that "journalists" seemed so eager to accept) became the basis for riots and protests against Israel and the US across the Arab world and elsewhere.

Here is the incredible recording (that I'm sure Israel would rather not have had to make public because it shows some of their signals intelligence capabilities) of Palestinian terrorists discussing amongst each other than the rocket came from Gaza.

His conversation with Jack Carr was one of the best and most important podcasts I've ever heard (on any topic). It's a brilliant introduction to the relevant history of Israel and the Palestinians and recent Israeli history and politics, leading up to the horrible events of recent days.

This is terrible news: A surge in wealth has boosted most US households since 2020 and helped sustain economic growth | AP News

Because the "surge in wealth" came from both Biden and Trump (but much more Biden) stealing the nation's future, meaning stealing our children's future earnings with the inevitable tax hikes and cuts to entitlement programs that will be required for the insane "surge in wealth." By the way, if your wealth is up 30% and the cost of living is up 25%, I bet you don't feel wealthier.

Today's Videos

NOT FOR THE SENSITIVE: As CNN and the NY Times and BBC try to make you think Israel should tamp down their reaction or consider a ceasefire, remember that the only people who suggest such a thing are idiots and anti-Semites (and of course there's a big overlap between those two groups.) And, as this brutal video reminds us, Hamas killed dozens of people who are citizens of nations other than Israel.

You don't earn more than others by working harder than they do (or if you do, it's a coincidence.) It's about your productivity and the value of what you're doing/making.
