Just One Thing: A very odd story
Last week, there were news reports of a man found eight years after he disappeared. He was 17 when he vanished, 25 now. Yesterday, police in Texas announced that it was all a hoax and that the kid had been gone for a single day, but that for some unknown reason he and his mom kept the hoax going by using fake names.
The whole thing is very strange. Police haven’t filed any charges against the two yet. And I’m not sure what the charges would be but I bet there’s something applicable if they kept police looking for a so-called missing person whom they knew wasn’t missing.
I don’t understand how this didn’t unravel sooner…was a 20-year old man kept hidden in a basement? Did he move away and come back? Curiouser and curiouser…

Casey DeSantis, the wife of presidential candidate and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, has started a new organization called "Mamas for DeSantis" and it's kicking off with a very good and intense ad. (If the ad doesn't display below, click on the link to the tweet to see it.)
The delivery guy is clearly a Democrat. (Note: there is one "f-bomb" in here, so I'll call it PG-13 rated because I guess movies can get away with one such instance without have to be R-rated these days.)
