Just One Thing: I'm STILL furious with the Democratic legislature and Gov Polis
Over the weekend, I wrote an article (which I’m hoping to have published by a Denver newspaper) about just how egregious the behavior of Colorado’s Democratic-dominated legislature, in cahoots with Governor Jared “I promise to save you money” Polis, is when it comes to holding us hostage for property tax relief. The fact that they offer voters only slight property tax relief and then only if voters agree to let Democrats effectively end TABOR tax refunds, and the fact that the legislature passed a separate bill to bribe low-income folks who probably don’t own property to vote for an implicit income tax hike on everyone else, is egregious, cynical, and disgusting. Coloradans will be feeling tremendous financial pain and when you do just remember that Democrats could have helped but chose instead to hold a gun to your head.

One More Thing: Every American, and especially every student in a civics class, should read this
A brilliant statement by Justice Neil Gorsuch decrying the abuse of emergency powers and the manipulation of the Court's docket in the service of trampling our fundamental rights. The whole thing is worth reading but the key section starts in the middle of page 4 ("Since March 2020...) and goes to the end of page 8.

Today's Guests
Actor and musician Gary Sinise joins us to talk about the National Memorial Day Concert. Gary found fame and fortune as the bass player for the Lt Dan Band, soon to be inducted, I expect, into the rock hall of fame. One of the only bands ever to play Diego Garcia.
Co-hosted by Sinise, Tony-Award-winner Joe Mantegna with actress Mary McCormack, who are all long-time supporters of veterans’ causes and our troops in active service, the 34th annual event brings the country together and pays tribute to the service and sacrifice of our men and women in uniform.
PBS National Memorial Day Concert Announces Lineup – Deadline
