Just One Thing
Yesterday former President Trump's legal time filed a motion in court to have a Special Master appointed to go over all the documents that were seized during the FBI's search/raid of Mar a Lago and return those that were not properly covered by the search warrant.
The lawyers will fight this out, but here's my guess: Trump and his team will argue that the warrant was about classified information and the government should return anything that isn't classified. The government will argue that item (c) of the search warrant allowed he seizure of "any government and/or Presidential Records" created during Trump's term of office which will likely cover FAR more of what was removed from the property and Trump will get little or nothing back other than his passports.
To elaborate: I have no idea what was in those boxes but I bet that NARA (the National Archives and Records Administration) would claim that anything that had even a slight aroma of involving official presidential action or concern is their property. It will be like Hillary’s emails about her "yoga schedules" which may or may not have existed on her illegal server. Unless Trump saved his yoga schedules, he’s not getting much of anything back.
