Hollie Velasquez Horvath on Xcel's New 'Time of Use' Electricity Pricing

This one might hit you in the wallet: Hollie Velasquez Horvath is a Regional VP for State Affairs and Community Relations for Xcel Energy. We're going to try to learn just what Xcel Energy's new "Time of Use" electricity pricing means, how it works, how you can avoid having your electricity bill skyrocket, etc. Bottom line seems to be that if you use a lot of electricity from 3 PM to 7 PM you're going to see your bill skyrocket. We will take your questions and try to get answers. I'll also ask what the motivation is for Xcel's big push toward "renewables" that seems like an inevitable cost increase for ratepayers.
