On Saturday, the Colorado Republican Party held its nominating assembly, deciding who wouldn't and wouldn't be on the primary election ballot (other than the candidates who qualified by petition.) The results showed what we've known for a long time. The caucus and assembly process is broken and must be replaced. Well, that's an opinion. Mine and others' but surely not everyone's. We'll talk about the assembly results and about the process itself with Kristi Burton Brown, the energetic (and very conservative) chairwoman of the Colorado Republican Party.

Lightening it up for a minute, we'll talk with "Pet Caterer" Melinda Kirk Stenger who came up with the hugely successful "Pet Cakes." We'll talk about how feeding animals is different from feeding people and I'll actually give away a bunch of Pet Cakes by handing them out to you in person just after the show!

It's a very complex area to understand and it's something I find fascinating. We'll talk about all of this with Andrew Webber, the founder and CEO of Digital Power Optimization. Here's his website: Digital Power Optimization
