Brian Morra's alter-ego...a thinly disguised version of himself...stars in his new book, "The Able Archers", about a time during 1983 when Brian, a former military intelligence officer, believes that the US was closer to all-out nuclear war with Russia than at any time in the past, including during the Cuban Missile Crisis. I couldn't put the book down. The style of the writing is very interesting, especially knowing as you're reading that even though the story is very lightly fictionalized, it really is more history than make-believe.
