NEED A RESERVATION? GET READY TO PAY A DEPOSIT I've had to do this in other cities and honestly don't think it's a big deal. You have to put down a small deposit when you make a reservation at nicer restaurants. Maybe 20 bucks or so that gets refunded when you show up. If you call the restaurant and cancel like a good human most restaurants refund the fee, but if you no show you've at least given them something.

AHMAD ARBERY'S MURDERERS ARE TRYING TO CUT A DEAL TO MAKE PRISON EASIER And his mother and her attorney are fighting it to the bitter end. I'm glad they are. Because these two men were facing federal hate crimes charges they have cut a deal with federal prosecutors that will allow them to serve their time in FEDERAL prison, which is a cake walk compared to Georgia's grittier environments. Here's hoping the judge rejects that part of the deal and forces them to serve their life terms in state prison instead. It's the least he could do after what they did.
DENVER IS RAISING PARKING FINES And this isn't surprising because our parking fees and fines are lower than pretty much everywhere else I've ever been. Now "Secretary Pete" as he likes to be called, has slipped a similar program, maybe, into the new ginormous infrastructure bill.
