Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic keeps doing his thing.
Wednesday night, that was bad news for the Washington Wizards.
Jokic went for 29 points, 13 rebounds and eight assists in the Nuggets 127-109 win over the Washington Wizards. All those numbers were team-highs for Jokic, who has led Denver in points, rebounds and assists in seven straight games.
As it turned out, Denver put the game out of reach in the second quarter, outscoring the Wizards 39-24 to take a commanding 73-52 lead at halftime.
Bones Hyland continued his good play of late, scoring 17 points on 6-10 from the field. Monte Morris added 15 points and a trio of three-pointers.
The Nuggets wrap up their three-game winning streak at Cleveland on Friday, March 18 at 5:30 p.m. MDT.
