Forget about "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas."
Darcy Kuemper and the Colorado Avalanche hope what happens in Vegas also happens on the rest of their road trip in Buffalo, Boston and Detroit.
The Avs rode Kuemper's 29 saves and got two timely goals from Gabriel Landseskog and Mikko Rantanen in 2-0 win over the Vegas Golden Knights on Wednesday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Kuemper would not let anything by him as he continued his terrific play.
He was in a good battle with Golden Knights goalie Luarent Brossoit. With the game 0-0 early in the third period, Avs captain Gabriel Landeskog broke the ice only 41 seconds into the period.
Mikko Rantanen game the Avs some breathing room with a goal at 15:45 of the third.
The Avs are now 14-6-2 on the road this year. They are 17-1-2 since January 1.
The Avs four-game road trip continues against the Buffalo Sabres on Saturday, February 19. The puck will drop at 11 a.m. MST.
