Saturday night, the Denver Nuggets routed the Los Angeles Lakers, 133-96. The 37-point win was Denver's biggest ever against L.A.
The Nuggets had the offense going from the start and raced out to a 73-60 lead at halftime.
Then kept the foot on the gas in the second half, outscoring the Lakers 60-36 to make the game a blowout.
Nikola Jokic had 17 points, 12 rebounds and 13 assists for his eighth triple-double of the season. Rookie guard Bones Hyland poured in a career-high 27 points and hauled down 10 rebounds.
The Nuggets had 35 assists on 47 made field goals and only turned the ball over six times.
Denver has won four of its last five games and is now 22-19.
The Nuggets are right back at Ball Arena on Sunday, January 16. They will host the Utah Jazz at 6 p.m. MST.
