Short-handed?
No problem for the Colorado Buffaloes women's basketball team on Friday night.
The Buffs polished off the USC Trojans, 71-58.
It was the Pac-12 conference opener for CU, which had not played for 18 days.
But no matter. The Buffs still got a big win.
With an eight player rotation, the Buffs jumped up 21-12 after the first quarter. Then they put it away with a 9-0 run in the fourth quarter to push the lead to 68-50 with 5:05 remaining.
