Injuries and inconsistency have hurt the Denver Nuggets this year.
But Friday night they again showed when they're on, they're still really good.
The Nuggets used a big second quarter to get a road win over the Atlanta Hawks, 133-115.
Denver had a 43-28 advantage in that second period and that was the difference in the game.
Rookie Bones Hyland poured in a career-high 24 points for the Nuggets. Nikola Jokic had a near triple-double 20 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists.
Monte Morris had 21 points and Jeff Green tossed in 20.
The Nuggets hit 17 three-pointers in the win. Hyland drained four in five attempts from beyond the arc.
Next up for Denver is a road game against the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday, December 18 at 5:30 p.m. MST.
