Payback can be, well, a difficult thing.
The Denver Nuggets drove that point home in a big way to the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night.
The Nuggets atoned for a loss to the Spurs on Thursday night with a 127-112 blowout two nights later. Both games were in San Antonio.
Trailing 28-27 after one quarter, the Nuggets opened it up in the second, outscoring the Spurs 44-27. From there, the added a 31-18 advantage in the third to take a 29 point lead.
Nuggets center Nikola Jokic had another big game with 35 points, 17 rebound and eight assists. Markus Howard scored a season-high 21 points.
The Nuggets wrap up their seven-game road trip with a 4-3 record.
They'll host Washington on Monday, December 13 at 7 p.m. MST.
