Jokic Leads Nuggets To Overtime Win Over Pelicans, 120-114

Nikola Jokic to the rescue for the Denver Nuggets.

Again.

Jokic had 39 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists to lead the Nuggets to a 120-114 overtime win against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night in New Orleans.

Jokic nearly won the game at the end of regulation but his jumper spun around the rim and out.

But the Nuggets spectacular big man stood out in overtime, scoring 11 consecutive points.

Denver had to battle back at the end of the fourth quarter. The Nuggets erased the Pelicans 103-98 lead in the final 2:32.

Will Barton had 20 points and six assists for the Nuggets.
