Sunday, the Colorado Buffaloes women's basketball team rolled past Wisconsin, 67-51 to win the Rocky Mountain Hoops Classic.
After falling behind 4-0, the Buffs got things into gear and outscored the Badgers 16-2 in the next 6:51 of the first quarter.
CU led 18-9 after one quarter and was up 30-20 at halftime.
Wisconsin got within 39-34 with 7:25 left in the third quarter. But the Buffs closed the quarter on a 13-4 run and were on their way to the win.
Tournament MVP Mya Hollingshed had a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds for CU. Quay Miller added 11 points.
Colorado is 7-0 and hosts Dixie St. on Friday, December 3. Coverage starts at 6:30 p.m. MST on 630 KHOW.
