Make it three straight wins for the Colorado Avalanche.
The Avs started a two-game road trip to the Pacific Northwest with a 4-2 win over the Vancouver Canucks on Wednesday night.
Colorado got off to a quick start and got a power play goal from Mikko Rantanen at 7:17 of the first period.
But the Canucks tied the game with a goal nearly at the midway mark of the second period and then took a 2-1 lead on Tucker Poolman's goal 90 seconds into the third.
The Avs got their high-powered offense going again after that. Nazem Kadri and Cale Makar put the puck home 53 seconds apart to put the Avs up 3-2 before Gabriel Landeskog added an empty-netter with 11 seconds left in the game
Colorado skates at Seattle on Friday, November 19. Puck drops at 8 p.m. MST.
