But it was a win.
The Colorado Buffaloes needed overtime to defeat Montana St., 94-90, in the season opener for both teams at the CU Events Center in Boulder.
Elijah Parquet hit a 3-pointer with 18 seconds left in regulation to tie the game 80-80. The Buffs rallied from 13 points down in the second half.
The Buffs host New Mexico on Saturday, November 13. With CU football airing on KOA, coverage of CU men's basketball will move to 630 KHOW and start at 4 p.m. MST.
