ELWAY: Broncos Added Explosiveness To The Offense

The Denver Broncos closed out the NFL Draft on Saturday, selecting five more players in the final four rounds.

In all, the Broncos drafted ten players, six offensive and four defensive.

Leading up to the draft, Broncos President of Football Operations/GM John Elway said they wanted to build around young quarterback Drew Lock.

Elway thinks they did that.

"We feel like we added some explosiveness to the offensive side and some speed to the offensive side because that's where we've struggled the last three or four years, putting points on the board," Elway told KOA NewsRadio. "But again, they're very young. We have a lot of growing to do. It's a big step from college football to the NFL. Drew [Lock] is still a very young guy but the ability is there. We just have to put it together now."
