It was a drubbing of epic proportions.
The Kansas City Chiefs manhandled the Denver Broncos, 30-6, on Thursday night in a game that was even more lopsided that the final score indicates.
Chiefs buried Broncos quarterback Joe Flacco under an avalanche of nine sacks and held the Broncos to 205 yards of total offense. The Broncos had 116 yards on their opening 75-yard touchdown drive and a 41-yard pass to wide receiver Courtland Sutton in the second half.
Outside of that drive and that play, the Broncos had a paltry 89 yards the rest of the game.
