The regular season draws closer.
The Denver Broncos got one step closer on Saturday night, playing their fourth preseason game and falling to the Los Angeles Rams, 10-6, at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
The Broncos led 6-3 at halftime on the strength of two field goal by Brandon McManus.
The Rams took the lead with 12:38 left in the game when Rams quarterback John Wolford threw a four-yard touchdown pass to Jalen Green.
Despite good play at times, Broncos back-up quarterback Brett Rypien could not lead Denver to any points in the second half. He finished 14-of-23 for 80 yards with one interception.
Kevin Hogan started at quarterback for the Broncos and was 8-of-12 for 69 yards.
