It took one pitch for Hawaii to take the lead over South Korea in the championship game of the Little Leaue World Series.
The celebration will last much, much longer.
Hawaii beat South Korea, 3-0, to win the Little League World Series Championship Sunday in South Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Hawaii took a 1-0 lead when Mana Lau Kong hit a home run on the first pitch of the game.
As it turned out, that would be all the offense that starting pitcher Ka'olu Holt threw a comlete-game shutout, allowing only two hits while striking out seven.
Hawaii added two runs in the third inning to secure its first Little League World Series title since 2008.
