Tyler Anderson gave the Rockies just what they needed on Wednesday: a terrific start.
The left-hander went seven strong innings in Colorado's 7-2 win over Philadelphia. The victory snapped the Rockies' five-game losing streak.
Anderson allowed only a run on six hits, walking none and striking out six.
Trevor Story had three hits and two RBIs. Ian Desmond and Gerardo Parra also drove in two runs each.
The Rockies go for the series win on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. MDT on KOA NewsRadio 850 AM and 94.1 FM.
