Iannetta's Walk-off Lifts Rockies Over Giants, 6-5

It was back-and-forth all game long.

Turns out, the team with the last chance won.

Chris Iannetta delivered an RBI single with one out in the bottom of the tenth inning scored Nolan Arenado to give the Colorado Rockies a 6-5 win over the San Francisco Giants.

The Rockies tied the game at five on Ian Desmond's sacrifice fly in the eighth. 

Trevor Story's three-run home run in the first inning enabled the Rockies to overcome an early 2-0 deficit. The Giants tied the game at three with a run in the top of the third before the Rockies went up 4-3 on Desmond's RBI single.

The Giants then jumped back in front 5-4 with two runs in the sixth. It stayed that way until the eighth.

Desmond finished 2-3 with two RBIs. Story was 3-5 with three RBIs and two runs scored.

The Rockies look to make it two straight wins over the Giants on Tuesday night. Coverage starts at 6 p.m. MDT on KOA NewsRadio 850 AM and 94.1 FM.
