CU Scientist has asteroid named after him.

Planetary scientist Paul Sanchez has a rare honor. There is now an asteroid named after him. The International Astronomical Union says asteroid 2000 VH57 is now named Paulsanchez. It's actually a binary system of two asteroids orbiting each other. Sanchez is being recognized for his contributions to rubble pile asteroids, a class of asteroids that are many pieces loosely held together and not just a large hunk of rock.
