It was quite a bye weekend for the Denver Broncos.

General manager George Paton was able to get contract extensions done with the Broncos top two wide receivers, Courtland Sutton and Tim Patrick.

Sutton agreed to a four-year, $60.8 million deal on Monday while Patrick came to terms on a three-year, $30 million contract (max value $34.5 million) on Friday.

Sutton is guaranteed $34.9 million while Patrick gets $18.5 million guaranteed.

Monday, Patrick said he wanted to stay with the Broncos.

"Why would I want to leave somewhere that believed in?" Patrick asked. "Just them putting an offer on the table, I was ready. I was ready to sign right away. I'm forever thankful for the Broncos because they didn't have to sign me. I could have been out of the NFL. Just by them giving me a chance, it made all this possible."

Sutton also said the Mile High City is the only place he wants to play.

"This is home. This is home," Sutton said. "Like Tim said, Denver gave me an opportunity and getting drafted was one of the best days of my life. I've always said that being a Bronco was something I want to do for like. To be able to have this opportunity, it's a blessing. I'm honored to be able to represent the Denver Broncos and to continue to represent the Denver Broncos. Like Tim also said, carrying us to a lot of wins. Our thing is just making sure that we're doing everything we possibly can to help the team be as successful as we possibly can."

Both Sutton and Patrick joined the KOA Sports Zoo on Monday afternoon.
