It was hardly a work of art but the Denver Broncos will take a 16-10 win over the Oakland Raiders any time.

That was the final score in a key AFC West match-up Sunday at Sports Authority Field at Mile High.

Statistically, the Broncos dominated, outgaining the Raiders 298 yards to 254. The Broncos dominated on the ground, outrushing the Raiders 143 yards to 24. And Denver was plus-one in the turnover battle.

Yet, the Broncos could never shake the Raiders, who lost starting quarterback Derek Carr to a back injury in the second half.

The Broncos were 0-for-4 in the red zone and Brandon McManus missed a 29-yard field goal.

But the Broncos will take the win. They head into their bye week with a 3-1 record. The Broncos next game will be on Sunday, October 15 when they host the New York Giants on Sunday Night Footbal.

You can hear that game on KOA NewsRadio 850 AM and 94.1 FM starting at 12 p.m. mountain time.

Listen to postgame interviews with Coach Vance Joseph, Trevor Siemian, Isaiah McKenzie, Jamaal Charles and AJ Derby.
