Buffs Handle Lobos, 87-76

Colorado did enough to get by the New Mexico Lobos, 87-76, on Saturday to get to 2-0 on the season,.

The Buffs started slowly and New Mexico was able to stay in the game. Colorado led 42-36 at halftime.

The Lobos got the deficit down to 60-59 a little more than halfway through the second half but Colorado never gave up the lead.

Sophomore Keeshawn Barthelemy was 3-4 from three-point range and led the Buffs with 20 points. Senior Evan Battey had 16 points and six rebounds.
