The bats might be starting to warm up for the Colorado Rockies.
Charlie Blackmon, David Dahl and Nolan Arenado all hit solo home runs in the Rockies 3-1 win over the Cubs on Tuesday night at Wrigley Field.
Blackmon and Dahl hit back-to-back homers in the top of the first to get the Rockies off to a good start. Arenado added his big fly in the fourth inning.
That was more than enough support for starter Jon Gray, who was terrific in his seven innings of work. Gray allowed one run on three hits with one walk and six strikeouts.
The Rockies go for the series win Wednesday at 11:40 a.m. MDT on KOA NewsRadio 850 AM and 94.1 FM.
