Rockies Announce Opening Day Roster

Opening Day 2018 is upon us. The Colorado Rockies roster is set.

COLORADO ROCKIES ANNOUNCE 2018 OPENING DAY ROSTER

Team opens 25th Anniversary Season Thursday night at Arizona

 

PHOENIX – The Colorado Rockies finalized their 2018 Opening Day 25-man roster today by placing pitchers Carlos Estévez (left oblique strain), Jeff Hoffman (right shoulder inflammation) and Zac Rosscup (left middle finger blister) on the 10-day disabled list, retroactive to March 26.

The team previously placed right-handed pitcher Rayan González (Tommy John surgery) on the 60-day disabled list March 9.

The Rockies open the franchise’s 25th Anniversary Season on Thursday at Arizona’s Chase Field at 8:10 p.m. MDT, beginning a three-game series against the Diamondbacks. Colorado returns to Coors Field on Friday, April 6 for the Home Opener against the Atlanta Braves at 2:10 p.m. MDT.
