Vail's Mikaela Shiffrin has clinched her second consecutive World Cup title with a third place finish in giant slalom in Ofterschwang, Germany.
Shiffrin is coming off the PyeongChang Olympics in which she won a gold and a silver medal. Now, she is again the overall World Cup champion.
Five races remain in the World Cup season. Shiffrin leads Wendy Holdener of Switzerland by 603 points, a total too big for Holdener to overcome.
After the race, Shiffrin spoke about finishing third and her overall World Cup title.
