As if we needed another reason to hate the New England Patriots. Last Sunday, they gave us one.
Water-gate.
With the temperature in the mid-80s at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts on Sunday, the Patriots ran out of bottled water during their game against the Houston Texans.
So they started charging fans for cups of tap water in soda cups, to the tune of $4.50 or $5 per cup!
Needless to say, fans were not happy. The team has apologized.
