The Colorado Rockies ran their winning streak to six games with a 5-3 win over the Chicago Cubs Friday at Wrigley Field.

And the bullpen led the way. The relievers combined to allow only one run on one hit in six innings of work. Chris Rusin (3-0) got the win in relief of starter German Marquez. Rusin was one of five relievers that manager Bud Black called upon.

Ryan Hanigan and Charlie Blackmon each homered and drove in two runs. Ian Desmond added three hits and scored a run.

The Rockies and Cubs play again on Saturday, June 13 at 11:45 a.m. MDT on KOA NewsRadio 850 AM and 94.1 FM.
