They came close to a four-game sweep. But in the end, the Phillies salvaged the final game, beating the Rockies 2-1 in 11 innings Thursday at Citizens Bank Park.

Tommy Joseph singled home Michael Saunders for the winning run. Joseph tied the game with a solo home run off of Tyler Anderson in the seventh inning. The Rockies' lone run came on Trevor Story's solo shot in the fourth inning.

Rockies left-hander Tyler Anderson went seven innings and allowed a run on six hits. He walked two and struck out seven.

The loss was the Rockies first in a one-run game this year. Colorado finished the road trip with a 7-3 record. The Rockies return home to open up a three-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals Friday night at Coors Field.
