Free agent quarterback Aaron Rodgers reportedly visited the Pittsburgh Steelers facility on Friday (March 21), which is "an indication" that a potential deal "could be forthcoming," sources with knowledge of the situation confirmed to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette's Gerry Dulac.

"BREAKING: Aaron Rodgers is at the Steelers facility today, an indication a deal with the team could be forthcoming, per sources," Dulac said.

NFL Network's Tom Pelissero confirmed Dulac's report and added that "no deal is done or imminent" but noted that it was "another sign he's seriously considering playing his 21st season in Pittsburgh."

The reported visit came two days after the Minnesota Vikings were reported to have passed on Rodgers in favor of second-year quarterback J.J. McCarthy, with the Steelers and New York Giants expected to be his last two options, according to Pelissero.
